About ALL PLAYED OUT: First person in her family to go to college? CHECK. Straight A’s? CHECK. On track to graduate early? CHECK. Social life? …..yeah, about that…. With just a few weeks until she graduates, Antonella DeLuca’s beginning to worry that maybe she hasn’t had the full college experience. (Okay... Scratch that. She knows she hasn't had the full college experience). So Nell does what a smart, dedicated girl like herself does best. She makes a "to do" list of normal college activities. Item #1? Hook up with a jock. Rusk University wide receiver Mateo Torres practically wrote the playbook for normal college living. When he’s not on the field, he excels at partying, girls, and more partying. As long as he keeps things light and easy, it's impossible to get hurt... again. But something about the quiet, shy, sexy-as-hell Nell gets under his skin, and when he learns about her list, he makes it his mission to help her complete it. Torres is the definition of confident (And sexy. And wild), and he opens up a side of Nell that she's never known. But as they begin to check off each crazy, exciting, normal item, Nell finds that her frivolous list leads to something more serious than she bargained for. And while Torres is used to taking risks on the field, he has to decide if he's willing to take the chance when it's more than just a game. Together they will have to decide if what they have is just part of the experiment or a chance at something real.

And don’t miss the first two books in the Rusk University Series…

Falling Away by Penelope Douglas Blog Tour

TiK: Falling Away (Fall Away, #3)
Author: Penelope Douglas
Genre: NA |  Contemporary Romance
Release Date: January storyli15
Synopsis

Jaxon is the guy she’s supposed to avoid.  K.C. is the girl he won’t let get away....

K. C. Carter has always followed the rules—until this year, when a mistake leaves her the talk of her college campus and her carefully arranged life comes crashing to a halt. Now she’s stuck in her small hometown for the summer to complete her court-ordered community service, and to make matters worse, trouble is living right next door.

Jaxon Trent is the worst kind of temptation and exactly what K.C. was supposed to stay away from in high school. But he never forgot her. She was the one girl who wouldn’t give him the time of day and the only one to ever say no. Fate has brought K.C. back into his life—except what he thought was a great twist of luck turns out to be too close for comfort. As the bond between them grows, he discovers that convincing K.C. to get out from her mother’s shadow is hard, but revealing the darkest parts of his soul is nearly impossible.…
“You’ve got some ego,” I bit out. “I mean, yeah, all of a sudden you have money. Where you get it from is too scary to even think about,” I spouted off when I really should just shut up. “And you seem to have the town’s police in the palm of your hand. You’re clearly running the Loop now. Congratulations, Jax.” I smiled a big-ass, fake grin. “You’re the most powerful man in Shelburne Falls, Illinois!”

I planted my hands on my hips, pretty damn pleased at how good I’d gotten at putting men in their place.

But then my smile dropped and my eyes rounded. Jax’s eyes—full of challenge and amusement—narrowed on me, and he tossed his towel down, heading right for me.

Shit. I knew I should’ve listened to my mother. I talked too much.

He nodded, a grin playing at the corner of his mouth. “There she is.”

I inched back to the wall as he advanced into my space. “What are you talking about?”

“The snarky girl I met at Madoc’s house years ago.”

Yeah, the one that was slightly drunk and hella confident? My head bobbed off the wall, signaling I was at a damn dead end, and a trickle of sweat skidded down my neck. I saw Jax’s eyes flash to it, and all of a sudden I was too dumb to even remember my own name.

God, he was big. My chest vibrated with the heat of him only an inch away. He hovered over me, engulfing and consuming the space around me, making me feel as if I stood in the shadow of a tree.

Staring straight ahead, I made a conscious effort to keep my face straight. But it was almost impossible, and it was pointless. Out of all the reasons I could come up with for hating Jax—he always challenged and pushed me, and he always did whatever the hell he wanted—I could never claim that he wasn’t smart. He knew I was affected. He knew my body liked him close.

“I love it when you get mouthy,” he whispered down on me. “It makes me want to shut you up.”

Son of a bitch. I clenched my thighs together, feeling the moisture there.

I needed to get out of here. “I have to go.” I pushed off the wall but hit his chest, closing me in again.

“How do you like your community service?” he said low, trapping me by planting his hands on the wall on each side of my head.

Huh?

His smell was raw heat. Summer. Sticky cotton candy on a Ferris wheel and cool water on hot skin.

“What?” He’d asked me a question. What the fuck did he just ask?

He leaned on his hands, dipping his head close to mine. “Community service, K.C. How do you like it?”

I could hear the laughter in his voice.

“I don’t,” I mumbled. “Teaching a bunch of kids who slacked off during the school year, because they didn’t get the attitude adjustment they needed, isn’t my idea of a good time.”
His arms lowered a bit, and I could hear him inhaling through his nose, as if he was smelling me.

“Your idea of a good time got you here in the first place.” His voice was calm but firm. “And those kids don’t need an attitude adjustment. You do.”

I smirked. “Well, I’m getting one. Thanks to the great state of Arizona.” Then I pinned him with hard eyes. “You don’t know me, Jax.” And I pushed him away and turned for the door.

But he hooked my arm, pulling me back.

“You’re right,” he said quickly. “I don’t know you. So why don’t you enlighten me? What does
K.C. stand for? What did you do at college that got you arrested?”

When I just stood there, not answering his stupid questions, he backed me into the wall again. “Let’s try something easier, shall we? Your favorite color. What is it?”

“Are you serious?”

“Are you stalling?”

I scowled. “Pink. It’s pink.”

“Is it?” he pressed. “How about music? Who’s your favorite band? What about books? Your favorite genre? When was the last time you ate chocolate or stayed in your pajamas past eleven in the morning?”

I didn’t know if the walls were closing in or if it was just Jax crowding me. “What are you getting at, you little shit?” I accused.

And he got in my face, smiling at the challenge of my condescending name-calling. “How about a shower, K.C.?” The sound of his deep, husky voice swirled in my stomach and shot downward.

I gulped, licking my sandpaper lips. “Huh?”

He stared at my mouth, looking hungry. “The little shit—who’s not so little anymore—needs a shower,” he whispered, still staring at my mouth. “Take a shower with me. Right now.”

I so was not expecting this story between Jax and K.C to be this intense. Wholly Hell this book is so hott your going to need oven mitts to continue to read this. This story so far is my favorite of the other three(Sorry Jared and Maddoc). Just when you think of one character being one way you get hit with the depth of that characters life(I'm talking about KC). She hints out that her home life is not all roses and kisses but wow her mother really has issues. I applaud Penelope for taking the angst in this story to a whole new level.

If you read Bully and Until you then you know Jax's back story as revealed by his brother Jared. What you don't get to read about in those two previous books is how Jax's past deeply affected him.

I loved the fact that Jax challenged K.C to step out of her mothers shadow and be her true self. I also loved how K.C helped heal Jax from the demons of his past and that he is worthy of being loved(Fallons father also had good advice for him with growing up and becoming a man).  Did i mention that the chemistry between Jax and K.C is off the charts lol.

I wish i had a real life Jax(oh wait that would make me a perv because he's only 19 lol) ok how about this I wish that I was written as Jax's love interest and 19 again (that's better lol)

Favorite scene from the book is the Fun House scene!! *fans self* when you guys read this then it will make sense lol.

I also give kudos To K.C when her mother had a breakdown, she could have flipped her mother the bird and walked away but she stayed and made sure she was ok. Did I mention that K.C's mom puts Mommy Dearest to shame. Yeah she's that messed up.

I also would like to thank Penelope for my book hangover and lack of sleep because I was so engrossed in the story.

Seriously guys you gotta read this series!!

Awesome storyline this book will keep you glued to your ereaders and leave you wanting more.

Oh and one more thing.

Excerpt
Miami Hush Club: Book 1 By Michelle Warren
Ten years ago
The moment playing out before my eyes is ripe with irony.
My boyfriend is having sex, but not with me. Even though we run a wildly successful escort service together, I expected Casper to be faithful. What a lovesick fool I was. Instead, it’s me who’s being fucked as I helplessly watch my sister and best escort, Alex, sit atop Casper’s dick, enthusiastically riding him into next week.
At first I’m frozen in shock, so the situation crashing down on me is momentarily unfathomable. In some ways, it’s a nightmare that makes no sense.
My heart stops, collapsing in my chest and sinking into my gut as I desperately try to hold myself upright. Or maybe those are my malfunctioning lungs, unable to inhale the thickness of betrayal-laced air. Either way, it’s only my vision that continues working. My eyes soak up all the information, piecing together fragments of incomprehensible images as my brain tries to catch up.
Casper and Alex don’t even realize I’m here watching them because they’re too caught up in screwing to the rhythmic beat of the blaring music that’s making the condo’s walls vibrate. Still, the music isn’t enough to drown out their escalating moans of pleasure.
I want to break out of this hell but I’m mesmerized, watching his hands grip the curve of her hips, his fingertips sinking into her soft flesh, and his muscular arms flexing as they lift her body effortlessly, controlling the speed of their wild and ferocious coupling. Rising up, he takes her breast in his mouth and then drags his tongue along her collarbone, right before their lips connect feverishly.
It’s at that moment that I realize that this is more than a mindless fuck session, because Alex never kisses her clients. Ever.
They’re together.
At this new understanding, my gut roils as my brain kicks in and attempts to process this. How long has this been going on? Why would the two people I love most do this to me?
But the need for answers is quickly overcome by the surge of intense fury shooting back to my heart, delivering a jolt of electricity, jump-starting it in erratic beats. Now it’s exploding with a dangerous concoction of emotions—rejection, sadness, doubt.
And anger. Lots and lots of anger.
As if my body can’t take the boiling volatile mixture, my hands begin to shake, my muscles convulse, and finally I erupt, releasing a strangled scream.

Wished For You by KD Robichaux Release Day Blitz

(By Book Obsession Production)

Book Description:

Kayla’s Chick Rant & Book Blog

Blog Post: 1/17/15

My name is Kayla and I’m a blogger who believes in fairy tales. Through the anonymity of my blog, along with my reviews of the steamy novels I like to read, I tell the stories of my own search for love. No matter how disastrous they turn out—and believe me, you will ask yourself ‘Did that really happen?’—I never gave up, knowing my soul mate was out there somewhere. When my big brother invited me to move to Houston for a semester of college, I jumped at the opportunity to leave my small hometown to see what it was like to live in a big city. Having no friends and not knowing where to go, I met a guy online and met up with him that night. Because…YOLO, right?Turns out, he was an okay guy. Not ‘The One’, but still, a good enough guy to spend time with. But then, he introduced me to his best friend Jason, and my world tilted on its axis. The dark, tough, tatted-up guy, who was too broody for his own good, captivated me.
But he made it perfectly clear, I wasn’t his type.

Author's Note:
The Blogger Diaries Trilogy is the true story of how I met, fell for, lost, and got a second chance at love with my soul mate. The names of everyone EXCEPT me, Jason, my family, and my best friend have been changed to protect their identities. Full of youthful stupidity, leading to bad decisions and lots of angst, it is a real life story, where inevitably things are messy. No one can look back at their late teens and early twenties and not think of moments that make them ask, What the hell was I thinking? Every second of this trilogy is true, exactly as it happened.

The first book, ‘Wished For You’, is a tale of finding ‘the one’ too early, and then having to let them go.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a true trilogy, meaning the first two books END ON CLIFFHANGERS. But if you take the journey with me, in the end, I promise you a happily ever after you will never forget.I know I won’t.

Putting her dream job on hold to raise her family as a stay at home mom, who read entirely too much, she created a blog where she could keep her family and friends up-to-date on all the hottest reads. From there, by word of mouth, her blog took off and she began using her hard-earned degree as a Senior Editor for Hot Tree Editing. When her kids started school, and with the encouragement from her many author friends, she finally sat down and started working on her first series, The Blogger Diaries, her very own real life romance.

*Cover Reveal* Dangerous Temptations by Brroke Cumberland

Tentative Release Date: End of February 2015
Photography by Perrywinkle Photography
Models: Chase Williams and Whitney Rae Diederich

SYNOPSIS
One night was all it took…
One night to ruin everything I thought I knew.

From the outside, I had the perfect lifestyle.
Wealthy fiancé, blossoming career, amazing friends.

I wasn’t looking to get married yet, but when William—“Manhattan’s royalty”—charmed his way into my life, I couldn’t deny the security and comfort that overcame me.

To society, I was the girl only after his money. I was the party-goer who managed to seduce a man twice my age to have the lifestyle some could only dream of. I was every magazine’s cliché of what a gold-digging whore was.

I wanted to prove them wrong—that our love was real and that I wasn’t that girl.

But then everything changed.
One wrong decision. One unfaithful night. One haunting reality.
Perhaps they were right.

The media didn’t see it coming…and neither did I.

**This is a stand alone romance suspense novel with no cliffhanger. HEA depends on who you ask.**
Recommended for readers 18 and up due to strong language and explicit sexual content.

CHAPTER ONE EXCERPT
Oh god.
My head was pounding. Or wait, was someone at the door?
There’s no way I was this hung over. Or was I? Shit, I didn’t know. It was pitch black but then I realized I hadn’t opened my eyes yet, but the pounding was definitely apparent.
I rolled over, feeling the weight shift around on the mattress. The light, fluffy comforter felt great on my hot skin. The rest of me felt like I’d been hit by a truck.
My body jerked. Something was wrong.
I don’t have a light, fluffy comforter.
I opened my eyes, blinking several times to get used to the bright light. The sun was shining in, and I silently cursed that damn window for not shielding the sunlight out.
I sucked in a breath as I tried to remember the events from last night.
I couldn’t. Not much after dinner anyway. I knew I went out for Brittainy’s bachelorette party. The girls and I took a limo all over the city, taking us to dinner at (restaurant name here) and then we ended up at Le Bain for dancing and drinks.
The rest was kind of fuzzy.
I squinted, arching my back to stretch out the kinks. Good lord it felt like my body had been folded in half and beaten all night long.
I roamed my hands down my body, feeling for any kind of evidence. I was naked, completely naked, and I never slept naked unless…
I brought my fingers down in between my legs. It ached, badly. I could tell I had a full body work out last night.
I felt sick, like I was going to throw up, but I continued lying straight, hoping it’d pass.
I breathed in and out, slowly. Once my stomach calmed down, I attempted to move. A firm hand grabbed around my waist, pulling me back before I had the chance to get up.
“Don’t move,” a low, deep gravelly voice growled. It was a voice of a man who’d just woken up. Next to me.
Once I let it sink it, it rang a bell, but I couldn’t quite place it. He pulled my body to his, my back to his chest as he gripped my hip with one of his hands. He dipped his chin onto my shoulder and whispered over my ear, “I still have the taste of you on my lips.” I could feel his hot breath on me, the scent of alcohol apparent as I inhaled against him.
Holy shit.
I tried and racked my brain of any memory of last night. Who the hell was this guy? What was his name? Crap, I didn’t even know his name!
His hand squeezed my hip before trailing down my stomach, slowly going down in between my thighs.
“Stop,” I blurted out, sucking in another breath. His hand halted, but I still didn’t know who the hell this guy was. He could be into domination for all I know.
“Hung over?” he questioned, amusement laced in his tone. His breath tickled over my ear again, sending shivers down my spine unwillingly.
I cursed my traitorous body. It obviously remembered last night, yet nothing was coming to me.
“Yeah, I seem to have a case of the ‘I don’t remember what the hell happened last night,’” I said honestly. He removed his hand. I felt his body shift slightly as he put space in between us.
“Turn around,” he ordered. “Maybe you’ll remember my face.” I could hear the hopefulness in his tone, but I knew a visual wasn’t going to help any. I’d blacked out and nothing from last night was coming to me.
I didn’t hesitate though. I grabbed the sheet to conceal myself as I turned around to face him.
Well now at least I understood my body’s reaction. He was all messy hair with light stubble on his face. His eyes were dark, chocolate brown I’d say. He was looking at me intently, waiting for me to say I remembered him. But I didn’t.
I swallowed as I looked down the length of his body to see him completely naked, not at all covered up.
“Sorry,” I choked out, forcing my eyes to look back up at him. “I have no memory of you.” I blushed, seriously embarrassed. He looked good enough to eat and here I was not remembering any of it.
“That’s okay,” he finally said, his lips curving up slightly. “I’d be glad to help you remember…perhaps a fourth time would jolt your memory.”
My eyes widened in shocked. “A…fourth time?” I clenched the sheet tighter to my chest. No wonder my body felt bruised and broken.
“Wow…” He grinned playfully. “No memory even after three times is kind of an ego killer.” He brushed a hand through his messy locks, taking my attention away from his eyes. I imagined I was to blame for his hair looking like that—as if I had raked my hands through it over and over—squeezing, pulling.
Stay focused, Mac.
I blinked, seriously frustrated I couldn’t remember anything.
“I’m s-so sorry,” I rambled. “I can usually hold my liquor, but last night was a girl’s night…”
“I know,” he cut me off. “Bachelorette party if memory serves me correct. You were out with some girlfriends.”
“Right…oh god, did they see me leave with you? I need to get dressed. I should leave. Where are my clothes?” I started to sit up and quickly realized that wasn’t going to happen. “Shit.”
“Sit back, Mac.” It wasn’t a suggestion. He pulled me back lightly, dropping my head to the pillow. “I’ll grab you some juice and pills.”
“Okay. Thank you…” I lingered, still not knowing his name.
He sat up, searching the floor for his shorts. He pulled them on and spun around with a huge grin on his face. “Alex.”
Ho-ly panty dropper.
Which explains why I’m not wearing any.
