I had the pleasure of reviewing an ARC for author Michelle A Valentine in exchange for an honest review. She has been posting teasers and excerpts from the book through her Valentine Vixens and her Author FB page. So I was equally excited when she posted that she was looking for bloggers to review Phenomenal X. Trust me I jumped right on that lol. So I finished it and let me say this I am suffering from the worst case of book hangover ever. This book hangover top's Karen Marie Monings Fever Series and that was one heck of a book hangover. So now im trying to scrape what's left of my mind off of my Kindle to write a decent review for you instead of just writing Rita Love's Xavier or Mr and Mrs Cold lol. While I gather my thoughts I will tease you with the Cover, Synopsis and a teaser or excerpt lol.

My Review/Thoughts
If I could give this book at higher rating then
but that would not do this book any justice so instead of my numerical rating, I'm just going to go with this instead...
Yep that about sums it up.. lol. OMG you guys are in for a treat. I still don't know how to put in words how Awesome Phenomenal X is. I just keep going back to certain parts just to relive the moments between Xavier and Anna. It took me a day and a half(it would have taken me a day had I not have to go to the dr. btw ear and sinus infections suck) anyway's but this book will suck you in a spit you out with a book hangover. Like I said before this is defiantly my favorite book from Michelle(sorry Riff I still love you).
We begin this love story with Anna Cortez who decides to find her independence by leaving her controlling father. Leaving Portland behind and moving in with her Aunt Dee and Cousin Quinn who live in Detroit. While flying out to Detroit Anna catches the eye of Xavier(Phenomenal X) Cold. After a mishap on the flight Anna gets upgraded to first class(courtesy of Xavier) and seated besides the sexy man who she know is trouble.
Xavier know that Anna is different from other women whom he have delt with in the past. He know's he's not good for her after their brief conversation on the flight to Detroit but something keeps pulling him back to Anna. He just might have the perfect idea to get her to stay with him after spending more time with her on his vacation is over.
I can't even put into words how awesome this book is. From the beginning to the end will have you locked in. I swear this is one of those reads that you will devour in on sitting it's just that damn good. I loved that Michelle cold put together a Alpha male who is all yummy goodness*clears throat* I mean who is complex but not frustrating(maybe frustrating for Anna lol). I am a fan of Michelle's and I have read all of her books but this one right her is my favorite out of all of her books. I actually had to re read this because I just did not want it to end. One of my favorite lines out of the book comes from Anna's cousin Quinn. She tells Anna to "Grow a pair of lady nuggets" I damn near choked on my coffee reading that one line lol.
I also loved the fact that even though it seems like Anna lived a sheltered life she did in fact knew how to handle certain situations with two different female characters. Quinn is my favorite supporting character because she reminds me of my friends when I need a push in the right direction or basically stating the obvious lol.
X, X, X what can I say about this Alpha male. Even though Xavier has that domineering presence I love how Anna can hold her own against him and that she also know's how to put him in his place. Xavier may seem like a hard ass but he is all teddy bear(he just doesn't see it but Anna does). I so love him lol.
But I only have one complaint well... maybe it's me whining. When will I get more X??? I'm over here missing him already(hence me re reading). So the big questions is when will Xavier make another appearance in that brilliant mind of yours or better yet demand that you write the next installment in his story lol. But enough of my rambling.
I seriously can't wait til you guys get to experience Phenomenal X like I have and you will start to flood Michelle's fb inbox with demands for more X lol. Like I said earlier 5 stars will not give it justice but for rating purposes this book get's a
