Welcome to week 2 of My Favorite Series. This week I will be featuring the awesome writing of Karen Marie Moning. Her fever series was introduced to me through H.p Mallory's fan club. Everyone was three books ahead of me when I started to read Darkfever. At first when I started to read Darkfever my initial though was this book is going too slow for me but all that changed when Jericho Barrons entered the picture. Barrons full of mystery and barely leashed violence, but I will get into all of that when I sum up the series for ya. Word of Warning this series contains heavy violence, sexual encounters and all around badassness.
In the fever world we are introduced to MacKalya Lane better know as Mac. In Mac's world is all parties, endless fun with no worries or cares in the world, that is until she receives a phone call that would change her and her families world forever. Grieving over the loss of her sister Mac decided to fly to Dublin to try to find answers and solve her sisters murder. Little does she know she would discover more then what she intended to. This book is all action and suspense oh I forgot to mention on bad ass named Jericho Barrons. Mac soon discovers that the fae are not all cute and friendly.. Your going to have to take it from me that this series Rocks.. You will be blown away and never look at paranormal books the same again.

Karen also has a spin off series focusing on Dani O'Malley which continues the fever series but from Dani's point of view and events that happen surrounding her. The first book in that series is ICED.

One more thing this is the first series that I have read more than once and it's all way's like i'm reading it for the first time. I highly recommend reading this series if you have not read this series before. If you have then... read it again lol.
