Review In The Now By Joan Duszynski

Morning Addict's

I'm back once again to bring you all a review, this is book 2 in Joan Duszynksi's  In the Moments series. Finally we get Tara and Adam's story. I was so excited when Joan contacted me on GoodReads to let me know that book two was out. Now with all books(except for the ones I purchase myself) are given to me for an honest review, and I can't wait to share with you all my thought on In the Now. So with out further delay. Here's my full review of In The Now.

                                                                       Synopsis
18591591When the heartache of what Tara Wright believed was her love and life plan with her high school sweetheart follows her into a new year. Tara begins to rely on the three new and beautiful friendships that came compellingly into her life.

Caroline, easily becoming the perfect best friend for Tara. Thru Caroline she receives the encouragingly, witty Raleigh as a new found friend as well. Meeting Adam at a time where she needs to rediscover herself has her scared and confused. Every moment spent with him has her head swirling and her stubborn walls weakening.

Adam is the man that can make her laugh, give her support, and make her heart skip a beat every time he comes into view. He's everything Tara needs to make her way back out of her stubborn shell of fear she's closed herself into.

Finally starting to spend more time together and watching Adam in his realm of adrenaline induced racing at the Motocross has Tara's weakening walls finally crumbling to the ground and singeing in the heat Adam brings to her.

Has it all just been a crazy ride to recognize true love? Can Adam fix Tara's broken heart and make her believe that their love is In The Now?

My Review

This story revolves around Tara and Adam if you all are new to this series and don't know or need a refresher you can click Here for my review on In The Stars Book the first book in the In The Moments Series.

Now that you are all caught up.

This story should come with a warning lable

This story contains alot of swoon and melt your panties moments. Like I stated before we are introduced to Tara in Into the Stars when she thought Caroline was with her then boyfriend.  We pick up Tara's story at Caroline's mothers wedding. Tara finally decided that she no longer wants to hide her true feelings for Adam. There is a slight problem with that he's with(but not with) another woman.  Can she win Adam over without ruining their friendship in the process or will she be heartbroken all over again.

This story for me has a lot of tender moments with Tara and Adam. I liked how Tara decided not to just throw herself at Adam but by winning him over by being honest and straight forward with him with what she wants. That also goes with Adam also, he is very up front with Tara and lets her know that he's in it for the long haul.

Now where there is sexy there is also funny. There are also moments where I laughed out loud at the banter between Adam and Tara, and Tara and Raleigh. Adam can only be described as a big goof ball, but he's also a devoted brother and uncle to two adorable niece and nephew.

I loved the fact that no matter what Tara's insecurities about her own family Adam was there to comfort and reassure her.

Tara's brother Eric can be a bit overbearing and overprotective when it comes to her(please refer to into the stars review lol) but I overlooked that because he is her older brother after all lol.

Now with all the good comes the bad.. Namely Adam's on again off again booty call Marissa. Marissa is your typical girl who was hoping for something more but didn't get the guy. She in my opinion is a major bitch who was clingy and insecure. You really don't get to read much about her in the book but her presence is there and I can see why Tara was hesitant when she was moving forward with Adam.

I loved Tara and Adam's story and did not want it to end. But I know like Caroline and Eric's story continued with In the Now. I know that Tara and Adam's story will continue with Raleigh's *hint hint*   story.

If your looking for swoon worthy men and good humor with some drama mixed in. Then In the Now is for you. I will recommend that you  read In the Stars first to get Tara's back story and get to know Caroline, Eric and Raleigh.
