Review Ready to Wed by Cindi Madsen

Happy Thursday Addict's

I'm back with a review from an author I discovered while I was attend the 2014 Romantic Times Convention in New Orleans this past may. He first book Cinderella Screwed Me Over was in the goodie room and was one of the tables for the attendees to take. The cover caught my eye and so I said to myself hey this looks like it will be a fun read while i'm here. That was begining of my fan girling of Cindi Madsen. I also met her at the giant book fair and she is super sweet and such and awesome lady :-). So she released another book which was published in August. Sorry I have been alittle backed up with getting my troupe together for school and work has been super crazy. I received Ready To Wed though Netgalley(I seriously need to use that site more lol). I was so excited to see that Cindi had a upcoming book and it was avaliable for request so I sent the request and crossed my fingers to see if I was approved. Well here we are with my review and I hope you all enjoy and pick up the book it's seriously funny.

Oh and one more thing check out my awesome netgalley sticker that was sent to me. So everytime I review a book for Netgalley you know it's official lol. Seriously it's to let you all know that the book came from Netgalley. So back to our regular reviewing schedule :-)

My Review

I discovered Cindi Madsen when I attend the Romantic Times Convention this past May and have fell in love with her writing style. A mix of humor and romance. The first book I have read by Cindi is Cinderella Screwed Me Over and I was hooked. So as I was browsing through Netgalley I discovered that she was about to publish another book and had to get my fingers on it.

Ready To Wed is a charming and funny book. This story line for me is totally different from the other books I have read in the last couple of weeks. What I totally love about Dakota's character in this story is that she learns that you don't have to have control over everything in life and that you sometimes have to let go.

Also what stood out about Cindi's books is the fact that she let's you use your imagination when it comes to the characters being intimate. Sometime with romance books I feel a little burnt out with the steamy sex scenes. Cindi gives you just enough to whet your whistle.  The humor in Ready to Wed had me laughing out loud with some of Dakota's pitfalls. One thing is for sure is that Cindi defiantly knows how to get her readers to connect with her characters. I defiantly was on pins an needles towards the end rooting for Dakota's happily ever after.

I will defiantly be looking out for Cindi's next release :-)
