Synopsis

Sinfully sexy Miles Stevenson is a wet dream for most women. When he unexpectedly pulls Rachel Parks in for a passion filled kiss, he ends up doing more than fooling the press.

Rachel Parks is used to the opposite sex throwing themselves at her, she’s a teacher and small boys run at her all day long. What she isn’t used to, are handsome strangers pulling her aside and covering her mouth with burning hot lips. She’s prepared when it comes to little boys, but she is totally out of her element when it comes to Miles.

Rachel decides to play along with his little game. What the heck, it’s Friday, she’s been stood up and the man in front of her is irresistible and apparently available.

Incompatibility screams at every turn, but passion paves the way. Sometimes the road is far too long, but the path is shorter if you meet in the middle.

My Review

Meet Me In the Middle is a quick read since it is a novella after all. The story revolves around Rachel Parks and sexy movie star Miles Stevenson. This is one of those books that you can enjoy on a nice day curled up on your favorite chair and or couch. A bed would do also lol.

I do tend to read novellas to help me get out of a book slump or to do a quick read before I review a book without fully committing to a novel and throwing off my schedule.

I will say that I really enjoyed reading this story. The story line didn't seemed rushed like some novellas are. The humor between Rachel and Miles and Rachel and Lacey had me laughing out loud. Now I will say the steamy scenes between Rachel and Miles had me swooning and fanning myself and wishing that I was Rachel in the book lol.

What good steamy romance is good without a scorned and catty ex lover. Colette is the conniving and self absorbed character that brings that balance to the story. With enough drama to keep you reading to see her get whats coming to her during the climax of the story.

I easily connected with our heroin Rachel and the many issues she had to deal with due to dating a movie star. I will say this that Kelly did an awesome job developing the characters in such a short story to pull the readers in and keep them reading until the very end.
